Judge Judy: Government is too big

Interview from the Kelly File on Fox News

Context is Key in Election Concerns

Rush Limbaugh: MSNBC caught redhanded again editing a tape to mischaracterize Mitt Romney:

Howard Kurtz commented:

KURTZ: But as first pointed out by a blogger named Sooper Mexican, here is the problem. That clip was deceptively edited. Romney had started out talking about a doctor being entangled in government paperwork. And here is how the supermarket anecdote actually ended.

ROMNEY: There’s your sandwich. It’s amazing. People in the private sector learned how to compete. It’s time to bring some competition to the Federal Government.

KURTZ: So Romney wasn’t amazed by the touch screen, but by the contrast between a supermarket chain and the government. That kind of editing is enough to give you indigestion.

Now, Andrea Mitchell played the full sound bite the next day, but expressed no regret for the earlier editing.

Meanwhile, Jon Stewart attacked Sean Hannity with a similar accusation:

Shep Smith calls AT&T speed limit on “unlimited” data plan, “crap”

Fox News anchor Shepherd Smith read a text notification he received from AT&T that notified him they would be slowing down his internet connection because he falls into the top 5% of users on their “unlimited data plan” before going on to denounce the action as “crap” while talking to guests on the subject.

Both AT&T and Verizon switched their unlimited data offer to a tiered system, allowing users whose contracts were grandfathered in with the unlimited option to continue receiving service, but by slowing their access to push them into either using less data or to switch plans.

“They changed the rules. It’s like crack. It’s all you can eat crack, until you get hooked and then you’ve gotta pay more.”

Smith closed by saying “your system’s no good and you fibbed to me and I dont appreciate it” before slamming his phone onto his desk and introducing the next show about to start.
